Friend of Turtle Creek Volunteers Clear Tiffany Bridge

On December 8, 2015, on 41 degree day, about 15 Friends of Turtle Creek volunteers participated in the clearing of vegetation at the Tiffany Bridge in partnership with Rock County Parks. This historic 5-arch limestone railroad bridge that spans Turtle Creek is one of Rock County’s most photographed icon. Over the years it has been overgrown with brush and this work helped expose all 5 arches, so people will be able to enjoy the full view of this treasure for years to come.

“Your hard work paid off and the clearing of the one-of-a-kind Tiffany Bridge looks better than ever! A big thank you from me, our Parks Department staff, and County Parks Director, Lori Williams for all your hard work yesterday morning!” ~ From Dave Hoffman, Community Coordinator, Rock County Parks

On the same day, clearing work was being performed on another location on Turtle Creek. See the original article about the log jam and the article about the clearing of the log jam.
